About Print A Checks

A small, independent operation in New Jersey, USA. We make one thing: a way to print your own checks, on your own printer, without ordering a box and waiting a week for it.

Why it exists

Ordering checks from a bank is slow and priced like it is still 1995. You pay for a box of a hundred, wait for the mail, and use eleven of them. Businesses have printed their own from accounting software for decades; there was no good reason it should be harder for everyone else.

So this is deliberately small. You fill in a form, it lays out a check that a bank can read, and you print it onto blank check stock from any ordinary printer. There is no software to install and nothing to learn.

How your bank details are handled

This is the part that matters, so here it is without marketing language.

• Your routing and account numbers are encrypted before they are stored. Only the last four digits are ever readable — including to us. If you call and ask us to read your account number back to you, we genuinely cannot. That is the design working.
• The free VOID check page never sends us anything. The check, the PDF and the image are all made inside your browser. Close the tab and it is gone.
• We never see your card. Payments run on Stripe's own hosted page; card details do not touch our servers.
• Two-step sign-in is on for every account and cannot be switched off. Password plus a one-time code by email on a new device.
• We do not sell or rent your information, and there are no advertising trackers on the site.

What we will never do

We will never call, email or text you asking for your password, a sign-in code, or your full account number. Nobody legitimate needs those from you. If someone asks while claiming to be us, it is not us — please tell us about it.

What it costs

Every account starts with three free checks. After that you either buy credits, which never expire and commit you to nothing, or take a plan if you print often enough that unlimited is cheaper. You can cancel a plan any time and keep printing until the period you paid for runs out. Prices are on the pricing section of the home page.

Straight answers

Printing your own checks is legal and ordinary in the United States, and we say so plainly rather than being coy about it. The one hard rule is that the account has to be yours, or one you are authorized to sign for.

We also try not to overstate what we can promise. Whether any particular check is accepted is decided by the bank it is deposited at, not by us, and practice varies between banks. The guides cover that honestly, including where the answer is genuinely "it depends on your bank".
